Transition arrangements to a new editorial structure

In 2012, the longstanding editors of the Information Systems Journal, David Avison and Guy Fitzgerald, stepped down and were succeeded by Robert Davison, Philip Powell and Eileen Trauth. The last four and a half years have seen the journal develop rapidly, with increases in the number of submissions, the variety of topics, the number of papers accepted for publication and indeed the inclusiveness of the journal as a whole. Our SEs and AEs have expanded not only in absolute numbers, but also in their diversity, with more women serving and more countries represented. Currently, we have 15 SEs located in nine countries and 29 AEs located in 14 countries. In parallel with these developments, the journal's Impact Factor has also risen, now reaching an all time high of 2.522.
