A manufacturer of lifting equipment has opened a new training center with two, 2.5-tonne cranes at its heart. The center, at the UK headquarters of Konecranes in Castle Donington, Nottinghamshire, is among the most advanced across the company's 48 worldwide locations. Offering courses from bespoke to more general, the center features a combination of practical and theoretical training areas. Two training rooms each have space for up to 16 people. One contains the latest audio-visual and presentation equipment. The other is dedicated to delivering more hands-on electrical training and features mobile workbenches and various hoists.
