The letter to the Editor by Gao and He on 23 September has illustrated interests in our research paper on "Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling of particle deposition in a two-dimensional turbulent channel air flow: study of influence factors" [1] and we would like to thank Gao and He for sharing their views on the paper.However, Gao and He have misunderstood the term of "maximum computing time for particles t_(max)" given in Equation (23) of our paper as below:
