A video conference on sericultural technologies was organized by the Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Mysore jointly with DOS, Andhra Pradesh on April 21, 2010 from Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), Hyderabad. During the inaugural session, Dr. R Raghavareddy, Vice-Chancellor of ANGRAU assured of all co-operation for the programme. On the inaugural day, five field units of ANGRU at Warangal, Peddapuram in East Godavari district, Kadapa, Nandyal in Karnool district and Tirupathi in Chittoor district were connected for the TOT programme. REC, V. Kota; Rayachoty; Eluru; Vikarabad and RSRS, Anantapur alongwith counterparts from DOS, Andhra Pradesh and 15-25 farmers at each of five selected sites attended and actively participated.
