Amateur Radio participates at International Municipal Signal Association Conference

Amateur radio had a formal presence at the 116th Annual Conference of the International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) in July in Bellevue, Washington. The conference is held annually and brings public safety technologists form across the United States and Canada together for educational and specialty area certification programs covering a wide variety of public safety disciplines. It was hosted by the Northwest Section of IMSA which includes the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. It provided an excellent forum at which the benefits of amateur radio could be presented to this group of technically trained government and private sector personnel.
