Digital Filter Symbolic Analyzer (DFSA) is a new program built using combination of C++ and Visual Basic languages. It is based on a simple and efficient algorithm known as successive multiplier extraction to calculate the symbolic transfer function. This algorithm is considered as a signal flow graph method which uses the Pade approximation within its calculation steps. The program is designed to operate under Microsoft Windows and to be elegant and simple. The main feature of DFSA is that it enables the user to enter his network by drawing it using special, easy-to-use, tools which help him to draw the desired network.
