著者達が先に提案した軽負荷時の効率改善手法について,制御部も含めた回路を試作し実験によりその有効性を検証した.提案手法では,駆動回路に内蔵されている小型の駆動用スイッチを軽負荷時用の電源スイッチとして活用することで,軽負荷時の効率を低コストに改善できる.実験の結果から0.2A 時で電力損失を50%削減でき,使用するスイッチの切り換わり時においても正常に動作することがわかった.%A novel light load efficiency improvement technique have been proposed by previous reports. In this technique, during the light load, small switching elements in MOSFET driver are used instead of switching elements in main converter circuit to reduce switching loss and drive loss. On the other hand, during the heavy load, the MOSFET driver drives the switching element in the main converter circuit. In this paper, a 2.5V/5A prototype with proposed technique was built and verified the great efficiency improvement (from 47.1 % to 72.7%) and the stable regulation.
