摘要

In this paper the Method of Fundamental Solution, which was originally developed for solving steady state problems, is extended to apply to 3D transient eddy current analysis formulated in terms of the Second Order Vector Potential. In numerical implementation, a time stepping convolution scheme is adopted to eliminate the need for volume discretization and domain calculation. Numerical results of a benchmark problem are provided to demonstrate the validity and accuracy of the technique.
