Fast peak detector for variable frequency three-phase sinusoidalsignals

A fast peak detector for three-phase variable frequency sinusoidalnsignals is proposed. This novel detector fully uses the three-phasencharacteristic to achieve instantaneous response and frequencynindependence characteristics. Moreover, the proposed detector possessesnexcellent linearity and low sensitivity to small voltage unbalance andnharmonic distortion. Because of its promising accuracy and transientnresponse, it can be used to improve the transient response performancenof the conventional sinusoidal peak detectors. Theoretical analysis andnsome experimental results are also detailed in this context
