The impact of tannin on the chlorophyll ia and carotenoids content and lipid peroxidation intensity in the cells of Cyanoprokaryota (iMicrocystis aeruginosa, Anabaena cylindrica and iPhormidium autumnale f. iuncinata ) and Chlorophyta (iTetraedron caudatum and iDesmodesmus brasiliensis ). The considered algae displayed individual reaction to the tannin presence in the medium. It was shown that green algae are more resistant to the influence of tannin as compared with Cyanoprokaryota. In most cases, tannin of concentration of 1.0 mg/dm_(3) in the medium stimulated the microorganisms' functioning, whereas concentration 5.0 mg/dm_(3) and above depressed it.
