Megan McCluer is the new manager for the Wind and Hydro-power Technologies Program for the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. McCluer replaces JoAnn Milliken, who was acting manager. McCluer comes from Clipper Windpower, where she was senior engineering program manager for the company's technology department. She possesses experience in rotor-craft acoustics and aerodynamics, including wind tunnel and computational research for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. She earned a master's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
