Steven R. Miles has been selected as the new director of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Hydroelectric Design Center. Miles' 27-year career in the military demonstrates a range of leadership, corporate and business management skills. A licensed engineer, Miles previously served as vice president of the Federal & Port Authority Business Development Team at David Evans and Associates Inc. In this role, he was responsible for assessing and pursing federal and port authority opportunities, specifically in the federal, water and marine markets.
