摘要

A proliferation of leadership development programs has occurred over the last decade. Although leadership development requires substantial capital investment, there is a paucity of evaluation of these program curricula. We aim to inform discourse about wildlife leadership development programs by proposing a set of criteria to evaluate curricula based on leadership literature and using those criteria to evaluate seven existing programs.rnSome frameworks consider leadership to be a relational process (Fleishman, Mumford, Zaccaro, & Levin, 1991); these approaches are well suited to inform environmentally focused research because they consider structure, emotion, behavior, and individuals.
