摘要

Housing, land and property (HLP) rights are the collected bundle of existing rights found within international human rights and other legal domains and global standards that have a direct bearing upon the residential conditions in which people live and the rights they possess as dwellers. They are applicable in times of peace and development, as well as within the context of conflict, disaster and climate change. Historically, HLP concerns date back to 1982 when the United Nations Disaster Relief Organization (UNDRO) presented its report on Shelter after Disaster. In this regard, different titles tapping into the topic have been published, each of which add to the literature in their own ways. This volume by Scott Leckie and Chris Huggins is one of the most recent titles analysing the ubiquitous HLP challenges present in all conflict and post-conflict settings.
