The House has passed a clean energy and climate control bill (H.R. 2454) that incorporates green building provisions from separate legislation (H.R. 2336) aimed at encouraging energy efficiency and conservation in housing and nonresidential structures.rnThe measure as approved by the House also includes some revisions to the building code and energy retrofit provisions in the bill as approved by the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
