HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan has announced that HUD will speed federal disaster assistance to the State of Washington and provide support to homeowners and low-income renters forced from their homes following flooding and mudslides beginning on March 22, 2014, and continuing. President Obama has issued a major disaster declaration for Snohomish County and the Sauk-Suiattle, Stillaguamish and Tulalip Indian Reservations. The President's declaration allows HUD to offer foreclosure relief and other assistance to certain families living in these impacted areas.
