Edison, NJ.-based Leucos USA has extended its hand-blown Italian glass repertoire through a distribution venture with de Majo Illuminazione of Murano. The six decade-old family-owned business provides both contemporary and traditional lighting fixtures as well as custom work and restorations. The line spans chandeliers, pendants, sconces, portables, and floor candelabras.rnTo celebrate its 60th anniversary, de Majo recently commissioned architect Roberto Assenzo to develop a new chandelier, the Roveto Ardente, which is inspired by the biblical story of the burning bush. The piece features 704 tendrils that embrace 128 bulbs. The spectrum of colors ranges from green at the base to red, orange, and yellow with gold accents.
