Glasgow City Council (GCC) is installing an additional 325 Parkeon Stelio(tm) solar-powered Pay & Display (P&D) parking terminals on its streets in two phases this Summer. Parkeon is also upgrading the software originally supplied to monitor the 104 terminals supplied last year, as part of the £800k contract. The latest version of the Company's centralisation suite, Parkfolio(tm).Neo Supervision, will enable GCC to change tariffs on any machine, at any time, from the host computer. This means that service engineers will no longer have to attend and reprogramme each terminal individually, saving a huge amount of time and effort.
