Consultation - Amendments to the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002

On the day of the IHIE Traffic Signs Conference, the Minister of Transport. Sadiq Khan, announced a public consultation on proposed amendments to the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002. At the conference DfT's Richard Creese outlined the proposals. The majority of the amendments focus on prescribing signs that are already routinely authorised, to reduce the need for local authorities to apply to the Department for special authorisation.
