With its enigmatic 'Focus Control' wound tightly down to 'Oohm', the Storm Audio V55 Vertigo behaves like a perfectly respectable 170W bridged operation amplifier. It just achieves its 2×170W/8ohm rating in practice, increasing to 2×220W/4ohm and 240W. 385W, 515W and 470W into 8, 4, 2 and 1 ohm loads under dynamic conditions [see Graph 1, below].
