I've been a member of the Audio Engineering Society for many years. My first contact with the organisation was back in the 1970s when I worked for Armstrong Audio. However, recently it struck me how it seems to have changed over the years. I can probably best illustrate this by quoting the titles of papers that have appeared in its journal as the decades have passed or have been presented at its conferences.
