The increased number of attendees and the ambitious agenda items at the annual general meeting of the International Tank Container Organisation (ITCO) left many with the perception that the trade group is rapidly growing in strength and focus. One strong indication of the group's expansion came from a part of the membership once falling under the 'depot' rubric. A wide range of services including cleaning, maintenance and haulage were historically classified as 'depot' activities, and members from provider companies made up a subgroup of the manufacturing division within ITCO's organisational structure. But with a growing recognition of this group's unique identity, ITCO issued the group its own division, and added a position to ITCO's board to represent the division. A second new board position was also created to represent aregulatory division. The holders of the two new positions will be named at a later date.
