The second of the 2010 joint meetings of the RID Committee of Experts and the UN Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) Working Party on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (WP15) took place in Geneva this past September 13 to 17. These two organisations are responsible for drawing up and maintaining the regulations governing the carriage of dangerous goods by rail (RID), road (ADR) and inland waterway (ADN) throughout Europe as well as in parts of North Africa and the Middle East.
