METHODS OF NONCOMMUTATIVE GEOMETRY WITH APPLICATIONS TO ASTROPHYSICS AND COSMOLOGY

In these lecture notes, we want to present a selfcontained introduction to certain aspects of noncommutative geometry and some applications in astrophysics. The concepts of noncommutative spaces and Hopf algebra symmetries are discussed, with special emphasis on twist deformation. Based on that, twisted gravity is introduced and some of its applications are discussed. So we provide explicit examples for noncommutative Einstein spaces and discuss an explicit black hole solution.
