EPA gets earful at Midwestern hearing on RFS proposal

U.S. EPA this morning kicked off a public hearing in Kansas City, Kan., on a contentious proposal that would set refiners' renewable fuel mandates for 2014, 2015 and 2016. The hearing at the Jack Reardon Center is expected to continue throughout the day, as more than 250 people had signed up to testify as of late last week. EPA is allowing each person three minutes to speak.
