Experiences, Lessons Learnt and Prospects: Revitalising and Establishing Property Systems

Fifteen years ago the Dutch Cadastre (Kadaster) began assisting in the establishment or revitalising of cadastres elsewhere. The resulting unit, "Kadaster International", has in the meantime carried out an increasing number of projects in many countries. The author presents an overview of experiences, lessons learnt, and prospects.
