Discussion on 'Analysis of Radial Consolidation Test Data Using a Log-Log Method' by Robinson, R. G.

摘要

The author in his paper has proposed a log-log method for the analysis of radial consolidation test data. The use of log-log method has already been adopted by Sridharan and Prakash (1997) for the analysis of time rate of consolidation of soils with vertical drainage. Careful study of the theoretical considerations illustrated by the author to propose the log-log method for the analysis of radial consolidation data reveals that the method proposed by the author is theoretically "flawed."
