Butchers 'revamped' following food hygiene prosecution

A butcher has reassured customers changes have been made to his business after being prosecuted for food hygiene offences.Gerald Williamson, owner of Carters Butchers, in Yarm Road, Darlington, appeared at the town’s magistrates’ court where he was fined £1,600 for two offences of failing to keep the premises and equipment clean.
