The Architects Practice

Over the last decade, The Architects Practice has worked with many primary schools in the London Borough of Hillingdon, extending, repairing and, above all, improving the way they work, often with tiny budgets. Each project has involved a creative conversation with the school. Two of those projects, at opposite ends of the borough, operate in very different social conditions, yet have exactly the same aim: providing a rich and fulfilling experience for pupils, and doing so with the extraordinary enthusiasm to be found in primary schools everywhere. As clients go, there are few who use buildings, new and old, with as much energy and invention.
