A new range of toasted ingredients, special flours, heat-treated pulse flours and grains is now available from Limagrain Cereal Seeds. Toasted ingredients include NutriCorn - a non-defatted toasted maize germ made from traced maize. Its nutty flavour allows it to substitute nuts with products that are more nutritional, Limagrain says. NutriWheat is a flaked toasted wheat germ that provides a rounded flavour. Toasted Broken Wheat, meanwhile, has a flavour that can lend itself to many different products, the company claims.
