Company brews nutrient premixes for coffee and tea, chocolate and biscotti

Schenectady, N.Y.-based Forti-tech, Inc., now a part of DSM, will demonstrate its range of food and beverage applications at I.F.T. 2013 at booth 1519. From a gourmet, freshly brewed coffee to a ready-to-drink tea, energy bar and biscotti, all samples will highlight a variety of nutrients to either aid in the management of specific health concerns, or help fill nutrient gaps in our diets. Visitors can sample: 1. Antioxidant gourmet coffee - fortified with antioxi-dants A, C and E, as well as B vitamins and vitamin D3; 2. R.-T.-D. peach tea - nutrients include Resveratrol, CoQ10, zinc, chromium and B-vitamins; 3. Brain boosting biscotti - formulated with DHA, phozphatidylserine, choline, calcium and vitamins A, C, E and D3; and 4. Relaxation chocolate bars - includes GABA, magnesium, L-theanine and L-tryptophan.
