Dry dairy product prices were mixed with mostly narrow changes last week. Butter values firmed, but cheese prices were mostly lower. U.S. milk production in April was 18,430 million lbs, up 0.1% from April 2018, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said. While milk production was still rising, the pace of the increase has been slowing. High-heat nonfat dry milk (N.D.M.) prices were left unchanged. Production was limited, and stocks were tight with spot offers lacking.
