Soylent names head of product development and innovation

Julie Daoust, Ph.D., has joined Soylent Nutrition, Inc. as its new vice-president of product development and innovation. In this role, Dr. Daoust will support the company's product innovation agenda as Soylent expands distribution. Dr. Daoust was most recently senior director of research and innovation and the leader of the sustainability portfolio at Vega, a Danone S.A. brand that offers plant-based nutrition products. Before joining Vega in 2013, she was a quality assurance scientist at Canadian health supplement manufacturer Clef Des Champs.
