Good news broke this month with the announcement that a new display team is being formed at Duxford, and that one of the aircraft in the flight will be coming to the UK from overseas. The latter fighter is P-51C Mustang Princess Elizabeth, which is due to arrive in late April after a long sea crossing from the US. The new team features some of the world's most experienced warbird display pilots, and I'm told the routine they have planned is really special. I can't wait to see them in action - the thought of a Spitfire, Hurricane, Thunderbolt and Mustang flying together is about as good as it gets!
