Javelin question answered

In the February issue, Chris Walsh asked about the presence of a Javelin at Nairobi airport in 1965. The aircraft would have belonged to 29 Squadron, normally based at RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus. However, in response to the crisis caused by Rhodesia's Unilateral Declaration of Independence in November 1965, the unit had been ordered to move to Zambia (formerly Northern Rhodesia), notionally to defend the Zambian copper-belt.
