I just got back from a weekend of participation in two modeling events and was struck by the nature of conversations I overheard at both events. Because of the cohort age of those in attendance, there were more phrases that sounded like "got the tests back," "high blood sugar," "the cardiologist," and "Medicare payments," than there were phrases that sounded like "wing incidence," "down and left thrust," "fuselage stringers," and "three-minute max." There's probably a message or two in there someplace, particularly in the context of this month's leadoff quotation.
