China has delivered its first six Hongdu K-8 jet trainers to Venezuela, as President Hugo Chavez has revealed interest in acquiring more of the type and also potentially buying the company's advanced L-15 model.rnChavez was the guest of honour at a delivery ceremony for the K-8s staged at a Venezuelan air force base outside Barquisimeto city on 13 March.
