IAG is to demand additional compensation from Rolls-Royce (R-R) over extra maintenance inspections for Trent 1000 TEN engines. "We are not expecting to see any issues with the engines, but the strict maintenance inspection programme requires us to take the aircraft out of service to complete those checks, and we will be pursuing additional compensation from Rolls," says the airline group's chief executive Willie Walsh.
