What is your background in aviation? I'm a former corporate and commercial pilot, and I still operate as a trainer and examiner. That's something everyone on the senior team has in common, along with the fact that we hold multiple AOCs and aircraft management posts. We're postholders, rather than coders or administrative professionals, so when operators come to us for support, we really do understand the challenges they face. What does your job entail? A little bit of everything. I like to be hands-on so on some days I will be going through safety audits with a customer, others I might be providing training on our Centrik system - and of course, there's the full-time management of the business, which includes everything from accounts to recruitment to developing new ideas.
