Help for vulnerable

In Support of its continuing sprinkler campaign, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service gave a presentation to Yarlington Housing Group in late 2012 on the potential features and benefits of installing domestic sprinkler systems in some of the properties of their most vulnerable residents. Yarlington Housing Group supplied a list of four properties in their portfolio where it was thought the most vulnerable tenants would benefit from an installation of a domestic sprinkler system. The subsequent installation took less than two days, demonstrating that sprinklers can be a cost-effective solution not only for protecting lives, but also property.
