NSI has been providing approval in the fire detection and alarm systems sector since 2002, including approval to the widely recognised BAFE SP203-1 scheme - a modular scheme for the design, installation, commissioning/handover and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems. SP203-1 is just one of five BAFE Schemes which NSI is licensed to deliver on BAFE's behalf: 1. Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment (SP205) 2. Emergency Lighting Systems (SP203-4) 3. Fixed Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems (SP203-3) 4. Contract Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers (SP201) In addition, NSI offers certification for the monitoring of fire alarms under the NSI ARC Gold scheme.
