A family of planar binomials in characteristic 2

Planar polynomials of type f(a,b)(x) = ax(22m+1)+bx(2m)(+1), a, b is an element of F-23m* are investigated. In particular, all the possible pairs (a, b) is an element of (F(23)m*)(2) for which f(a,b)(x) is planar are determined. (C) 2020 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
