High Speed Internet Coming to Parts of Wood and Portage Counties in Wisconsin

TDS Telecom is expanding its fiber network and bringing high-speed internet service to new counties in Wisconsin, including Vesper, Auburndale, and Junction City. Residents and businesses impacted by the project will gain access to up to 1 Gbps internet speeds. Service is expected to be available in the fall. "We've already started construction and we'll be connecting more than 1,000 addresses when the fiber project is complete," says Erin Danz, director of Marketing at TDS. "In addition, we're actively working on a variety of other I network improvement efforts in the area which will impact our rural customers in Wood and Portage counties."
