A challenging and ever changing market situation and new environmental standards are the main drivers behind the project. SDARI, Wartsila and DNV have therefore focused on fuel efficiency, environmental impact, maintenance friendliness and flexibility of operation, in addition to ensuring strength and reliability. The project concentrates on existing technologies currently available for commercial use.
