Asia Pacific has worst employee cyber security

A survey by B2B International and Kaspersky Lab has found that company security breaches involving human error occur most often in the Asia Pacific region. The survey, which looked at Global Corporate IT Security Risks for 2013, found that more than one third (36%) of companies in the region have had mobile devices lost by or stolen from members of their staff. The global average for this type of threat is at 30% The findings also show that the percentage of companies in the Asia Pacific region experiencing targeted cyber-attacks stands at nearly double the global average: 17% against 9% globally.
