EU-Canada consensus on GMOs

The dispute between the EU and Canada over genetically modified organisms (GMOs) has been settled. The two parties signed an agreement, on 15 July in Geneva, that puts an end to the procedure launched in the World Trade Organisation by Canada in May 2003 over the application of EU legislation on biotechnology products.
