Greece referred to court, Portugal called to order

The European Commission decided, on 24 November, to refer Greece to the EU Court of Justice for the second time because of its failure to apply Commu nity rules on public procurement fol lowing the rejection of offers from sup pliers of medical equipment bearing the CE marking, despite a judgement issued by the court on 19 March 2009 (Case C-489/06).
