A new method is proposed to solve the difference equations of synchronous generators and the network alge- braic equations, and two new matrices M and N are introduced, which can make the alternate iterations bet- ween the difference equations and the network equations converge quickiy. The calculations of matrix M and N are discussed and the convergence oft his new method is also analyzed. The simulations based on 15-ma- chine-48-bus , five-machine-24-bus and three-machine-infinite power system. have been conducted.
