Pharmaceutical Patent Law in Times of Crisis: A Comparative Study Part Ⅱ

The second part of this article (Part 1 was published in the previous issue)1 discusses the regulatory framework for conducting clinical trials and obtaining marketing authorisations in emergency situations in view of the corona pandemic of 2020. The authors, having regard for their practical implications, discuss these subjects both from a broader EU law perspective as well as from the national perspective of six jurisdictions, and give their view on the extraordinary measures that have been adopted.
