摘要

The continuing rise in oil-based fuel prices, combined with approaching legislation to control carbon dioxide emissions, has encouraged the introduction of various types of hybrid electric vehicles to the automotive market place. A range of vehicle types is now on offer. Micro hybrids still operate with a 12 volt battery, provide a stop/start function and, usually, recover energy through regenerative braking.
